Augmented reality
HP Reveal (Formerly Aurasma)
HP Reveal allows users to create their own augmented reality. A user will upload a trigger image or tag and then link an overlay to that trigger image. Here is a quick video demonstration showing users how to create an AURA in less than one minute.
Here is a great video that gives some incredible ideas on how you can incorporate HP Reveal and Augmented Reality into the classroom.
The Merge Cube
The Merge Cube is a Hologram that you hold in your hands. This style of Augmented Reality is great for hands on learning. It allows users to manipulate an item in their hands while learning about a specific topic. The Merge Cube does require the purchase of some apps, but also has a lot of very cool free apps such as Galactic Explorer, where the user can explore the Universe.
